Good article. I guess there is no black box warning in Australia for Elidel. I tried to get the Pediatrician to write an Rx for my son for Elidel, I was going to use it and since my insurance only pays for it every 45 days and he has had patches as well it would be no problem.
She said she could not write an Rx for it. I know people that used to use it on their kids, so I think once the warning was issued they could no longer use for kids.
I am about ready to get another refill and will have to pay for it since it is only 15 days since last refill. I use my AAA discount card and it costs almost $75 for a small tube. Luckily it is income tax refund time.
