I was told I had rosacea about 4 years ago. I am convinced that my rosacea is caused by food allergies. I have an allergy to yeast and wheat.

If I eat something that offends my system my ears even suddenly turn red.

Some years back I discovered I had an internal overgrowth of candida in my body resulting in headaches, adult acne, joint pain, hair falling out, bad breath, cold hands and feet, dark circles under my eyes, a swollen gut. and I was coughing and clearing my throat all the time. I was 29 years old worked out every day and very active. I went on a 30 day no sugar no carb diet and wah lah all the pain and suffering gone. Then I tried Threelac to clean my system even more. I believe my liver could no longer handle the overload of toxins in my system after using Threelac and it started to come out through the skin in my face. And that is when the Rosacea started. I used too much Threelac too fast! I should have started out very slow but I did not. Dumb me.

Currently in my life I have been able to control the Rosacea through a healthy diet, but I still have flare ups from time to time and it is not cured. My case is mild.

I use Eurcein sensitive skin cleanser
I use Dermalogica foundation
I use a combo of Metrolotion, Bacitracin and zinc (balmex) on my skin at night... sometimes vaseline
Nystatin (anti-fungal) creme seems to work very well for me too
I use probotics and digestive enzymes from time to time

I also noticed that when I had a urinary tract infection I was prescribed Macrobid antibotics and my rosacea cleared.

Also my rosacea cleared during pregnancy for whatever reason I do not know.

I personally believe it starts in the gut. you have to clean up your system. Rosacea is a sign your body is overloaded with toxins and it is coming out through the skin. A lot of people who are unaware they have food sensitivity or allergies will often have rosacea.

This is just my personal opinion, but I hope I can help some of you. It has been frustrating for me as someone who has always had such beautiful skin and I feel like I am fighting to get it back.

Thanks for sharing!
Have you ever tried Candex? I read about ThreeLac- mostly pros, but some cons. I have decided to try Candex and see what happens.

I took a couple of the online Candida quizzes and came up in the high mild/low moderate category for having Candida as a contributing factor to my health issues. I read Candex works without die off effects.

Just curious!

Thanks!

I have not used that product, but others like it. I have also should a Candida Detox kit.
