| I feel that my face is risen in some areas and very red, it looks like the skin is sat on another layer, is this rosacea symptons? When i flush or excersise or drink alchohol these areas become very red, inflammed and swell, i have no spots or pimples just raised skin in areas i used the cream, can i get my skin back on the same level again with treatment? |

What cream are we talking about? Steroid cream?
Could you possibly take a photo of the raised areas (preferable natural daylight) and upload it? |

Are those the areas that got the most steroid cream? That sounds similar to my skin and mine is not technically steroid rosacea.
I had to go on Prednisone for three weeks to get that under control, which it did while I was on the pred, but flared again when I came off. For me, though, it didn't flare and go down, it just stayed. It has gotten better with a few days of Metrogel and Oracea, which I discontinued b/c it was too tight on my face. I now use the Atopiclair lotion and Eucerin cream. It is still red, but not raised at all.
Have you seen a doctor yet? You should probably see one soon so you can start a treatment that will help calm your skin. |
