| The dry and cold winter is by far the worst time of the year for my face. |

| I would def say the summer. My face is already hot, then you add humidity and heat to that, I feel like dying. On top of that my face burns so easily. |

Hey Miki I haven't seen you post for a while. I hope you are well.
FOr me winter is the worst. Cold dry air combined with central heating is the worst-it usually makes my seb derm flare.
I wonder if those with rosacea/seb derm find winter worse? |

Could seb-derm be classified as crusty stuff? Not to be gross, but in the winter, I get, in the creases of my nose, crusty stuff that just won't go away. It is sore, itchy, and just yucky
(My first post back on open board in a while and Im talking about a crusty nose, lol) |

| For me the winter is worse. The forced dry heat is a huge trigger for me. And the temp extreme from cold outside to warm inside makes it impossible not to flush. For some reason the summer air with the moist heat is not as bad. I find I can even bike ride on warm days without flushing but maybe that's because of the breeze generated while bike riding. Of course, really hot summer days and forget it, all bets off. |

I certainly do. Before rosacea my seb derm used to get quite bad in the winter but in the summer my face was great. now the rosacea makes it hard to see which bits are seb derm, but yeah winter is the worst for me.
It was last winter when I started with rosacea, but it improved in the summer months then got much worse around last october. |

Personaly winter is the worst for me.
The extreme difference in temperature makes me go red instantly.
The fact that it's so cold but my face is hot, makes me burn up.
Going from cold outside to warm inside, instant trigger.
The best months are spring ,when it isnt cold, isnt hot, just generally cool, and the temperate inside and outside are relatively similar. |

Both extremes are bad, but summer is by far the worst.
I am paranoid of getting into a car, because I know I'm going to be miserable with all the heat.
The ideal no-flush day for me would be an overcast day... 50 degrees. _________________ Subtype-1: Cheek and ear flushing

Summer for me. My part of Australia has very high summer heat. In contrast winter is mild enough to avoid the problem of central heating.
I dread summer, and getting through it is very difficult. Spring would be ideal if I didn't have allergy problems! _________________ Male 27

| Winter time is the worst for me because of the big change in temperature outside and inside, and the dry heat. |

Heat and Sun in the summer.
Cold wind and indoor forced dry warm air in the winter.

I can usually manage winter with a moderate amount of trouble....the type of "summer" weather I can't tolerate at all is the high humidity...say 90% steamy thick kind of day....even humidity in those indoor pools....OMG within minutes my face will turn bright red and BURN so bad it brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it! _________________ Dx 1998
