I have been thinking alot about any connection being between hormones and rosacea.

When I think about it, my rosacea symptoms actually started while I was taking a strong birth control pill.

I have been off and on different kinds of birth control pills, and, noticed that as soon as I begin treatment I suffer from numerous/frequent facial flushing and redness.

I will not go back on the pill.

I wonder how much my time on the pill has upset my original hormone balance...perhaps it is still very off.

I am considering getting tested. I am only in my mid 20's, so I cant see why someone at my age would have this problem at all.. and may have trouble discussing this with my Dr.

Anyways, most of these symptoms discussed in the following link, seem to apply a great deal to me, which furthers my suspicion.

Any comments/suggestions are welcome and encouraged.

This next link is a hormone deficiency test/quiz.

Thanks for the links, will check them out. I was just reading this document that was shared in an autism group since many of the Moms are going thru this change, nothing about rosacea, but perimenopause.
