Seb derm versus dry skin:

| Can anyone help me differentiate between seb derm and dry skin? I have never had seb derm before but then again, I never had very oily skin until about year ago. Anyway, I went on low dose accutane about 4 months ago for the oily skin, rosacea and acne related to the oily skin.
Now I have noticed that misc. areas of my face, to include the area between my eyebrows and my nose have a real light flaky appearance. However, there is no redness and I just don't know if it is consistent with seb derm. I don't have the ability to take a picture and attach it but the flaking is very small and light- almost like dust I guess. Due to the distributuion I am led to believe seb derm, but accutane may be causing it to some degree as well and accutane has greatly cut the oil down. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance. |
