| Alright so im getting confused with some red bumps ive been getting. They are slightly raised, no white centre or anything. Im not sure what can be causing this (im also on elidel if it helps). Because theyre not huge bumps i cant tell what they are. I've been dabbing that prosacea stuff on them, not sure if that just dries them out tho. |

It could be papules which are red bumps that can look like pimples.
Are you taking any antibiotics or topicals to treat your rosacea?
Best wishes,

mine dont look like a pimple in that theyre just flat-ish, slightly raised. Pimples it looks like there's something inside and there's a head.
Currently my derm. just gave me elidel (he's trying to stop the flaking of my seb. derm.) |

I sometimes get papules which are red bumps that are very slightly raised and so far, pretty small. A pustule has a whitish center almost blistery looking. Again, they both look a bit like pimples, albeit different ones. A pustule almost looks like a whitehead and a papule like a red bump.
You could try finacea on them or an oral antibiotic. Some people have had luck with applying nasalcrom on the papule. It helps shrink it.
Best wishes,

I'm starting to get small clear bumps on my forehad with some random blotchy redness around it. I don't think it's anything rosacea involved though. Just another skin problem that adds on to all the other skin problems I have.
I'm just gonna wait it out and not put chemicals all over it. I'm sure it'll go away by the time I turn 22-23 (I'm 18 now). I think it's just some weird form of acne. |

Hi EK1,
Here's a thread about nasalcrom whcih is a nasal allergy spray containing optichrom. You apply it topically on your papules.

Hi EK1,
I've had those bumps quite similar to yours, I guess. Nasalcrom does help a bit but for me what really helps is doxyxycline (50 mg) and Finacea. I'm not sure which of those two works best but this combination is great for me. My skin feels soft and smooth and I only have some red spots left where the bumps used to be.
I think it is the Finacea because I did get some new bumps on my forehead before I started using Finacea there too.
Good luck!
