Dear all,
the pollen season has started here and my flushing is going through the roof. I have in the past tried some antihistamines, like zyrtec, but it didn't help me.
May I please ask everybody who has found benefit of antihistamines on their flushing, especially from hayfever/pollen? Before I go to my GP and don't know what to ask for...
thanks millions, Natalja _________________ 27 yr, vascular rosacea, chronical facial flushing, burning and redness for8 years.

| hey natalja- i never was on antihistamines but i am also considering it for flushing. on a different note i purchased an air purifier for indoor allergens and it definitely made a huge difference. i know that doesn't take care of outdoor issues. also remember to always shower every night. not that you don't - lol- because most allergy articles encourage this so that you wash the pollen, animal dander etc. off your hair and body so as not to take it to sleep and on your pillow. the antihistamine that was recommended to me was allegra. hope this helps you. all the best ...lin |

Thanks Lin,
thanks for the advice, my GP prescribed me Allegra last spring too, I might give it a try soon will update then. I'm just curious what antihistamine helps most rosaceans here..
