I would very much appreciate if anyone had any qualified guesses to make about this matter.
Will this greatly anticipated product Sansrosa made for rosacea and flushing also work for excessive blushing. By blushing I am referring to normal social blushing, but in an extreme excess that makes one face go red without no real embarassment, which is a life debiliating condition.
Would greatly appreciate your feedback on this matter. Thank you. |

| It would keep the blood vessels constricted for a set period of time, hopefully at least 12 hours, so my guess would be yes, absoluetly. |

Yes, it theory, it would help with that.
We can't know for sure until we try it, but it should help with blushing, flushing, and other types of redness. _________________ Subtype-1: Cheek and ear flushing

But it sounds like it only holds the swelling, redness down for 12hrs....then it comes right back...this reminds me of steroid creams...I know this is different....please don't misunderstand me but many tried the nasal spray with this main ingredient and found it to have a strong rebound effect. Has this been studied with this new med?? _________________ Dx 1998

We don't know about the rebound effect.
It is not a steroid, and it is nothing like a steroid, but... it is a vasoconstrictor so rebound is a possibily.
There is SO LITTLE INFORMATION released about the studies it is incredibly frustrating and aggravating. I have pounced on every info bite I can find, but there is nothing about the yes or no about rebound.
Phase 3 is scheduled to start in a few months... we will know A LOT more then. I hate waiting. We've waited long enough. _________________ Subtype-1: Cheek and ear flushing

Thank you for the replies.
I just thought of something. They estimated the market for Sansrosa to about 330 million dollars.
They are then only counting the people with rosacea associated redness and such. If this topical would work for social facial blushing as well they would also reach another HUGE other market.
Except for all the people with a physical problem of excessive facial blusing, most people with for example social phobia have a big problem with blushing. All these people are MILLIONS of potential customers. What if this could also be used to combat blushing associated with social anxiety! It could mean HUGE sales for this product. I just wish they knew that and perhaps conducted some kind of testing for these problems aswell? If this product would really reduce blushing without any bad side effects I would easily say they could TRIPLE that estimated amount. I just wish they knew about this potential but I'm not sure they know about how big a problem social facial blushing is for many people around the world? |

Yes, there are SO many potential uses for a product like this that probably haven't crossed their minds...
for instance, I want to use it for bad flushing on my ears...
or social blushing...
or redness after IPL...
etc etc etc _________________ Subtype-1: Cheek and ear flushing
