| Does that have the helioplex in it (or whatever it's called)? I tried a Neutorgena sunblock last year and couldn't use it b/c it stung. It had the helioplex in it, though. |

I can't use Neutrogena lotion, it makes me burn and sting. It kinda has a scent to it. I thought using the lotion for sensitive skin would be ok, but it wasnt.
I tried Neutrogena SPF 70 because that was the highest I could find. But just like J I could not use it. Usually it was ok to put on the first time, but I could never reapply it.
If you have a hard time with it, I would try Vanicream. This has been the only sunblock I can use without irritation.
XOXO

Is the Vanicream sunblock really thick? I have regular Vanicream and it is SO incredibly thick! I had to stop using it on my whole face and just use it on my red spots b/c it was too much for my areas of normal skin.

Not that I can remember off hand...its been 6 months since I used it. I believe it was just like every other sunscreen.
Ill go home and check it out and let you know for sure.
How do you like the regular cream? Does it work well for you? I still use the Eucerin throughout the day, and now the Mimyx. My derm doesnt want me using vasaline anymore....which can be very hard. The mimyx seems to be helping some.
XOXO

I liked it for my irritated areas, but it was too thick for my unaffected skin. It felt a little heavy. I am rotating it now with CeraVe cream, which I like. I still use Eucerin occassionally, too, but I felt like the Eucerin was also too much for my unaffected skin. I use the CeraVe cream all over and then again on my spots as needed before I put on makeup. I use the Eucerin at night since it can leave a more greasy feeling (at least on me). Still trying to find the right combo! |
