What is a good rosacea friendly moisturiser that people have had success with?
I used to used 99% aloe vera as a mask which was great for the redness but lately it seems ive been having bad reaction to it.

I can't use aloe...for some reason my face turns bright red!!

Right now I am using Eucerin (in the jar for dry skin) mixed with a dot of vanicream...I can use Toleriane lotion but it just isn't moisturizing enough....the Eucerin really is working well and is right at the coner drug store HTH Very Happy

We;; after using it recently i flushed afterwards and the next day i had loads of little raised bumps the size of blackheads on my face which i have never had before, so im not sure if it's the aloe or not.

I use zinc ointment. 10% zinc oxide in vaseline. Love it. Reduces redness, flakiness and calms itching.

Do you apply this directly to the skin or mix it with a moisturizer?

I asked the pharmacist where I usually go, but they didn't have the regular zinc ointment, only the diaper cream with other ingredients. I may try a few other pharmacies in the area to see if anyone has plain zinc ointment, or can mix me some.

I don't mix it. So strange to hear from more people here that it is pretty difficult to find whereas here in the Netherlands you can buy it at any drugstore or pharmacy.
Maybe I should start my own e-shop Wink
