Anyone use this before?

I went for a consult today for IPL and the derm wanted to see me before she signed off on anything. They were able to squeeze me in. She thinks I have a rosacea flare caused/worsened by topical steroid use, and something about the demodex parasite.

She put me on Clenia face wash and cream as well as 100mg of doxy. I'm hoping I don't react to the doxy. I had a problem with Oracea, but it may have also just been a coincidental inflammatory response to the steroid withdrawal so we'll see what happens.

Any experience with Clenia? Luckily she gave me some samples to use before I get the prescription filled.

Thanks!

ETA: OH MY GOD! This stuff BURNS!!!!! What in the world was this derm thinking?!?!?! I put a little bit of the cream on earlier and at first thought it went on fine with no irritation. It's been a couple hours and I just want to stick my head in the freezer! I googled it and it says it's for acne, rosacea, and seb derm. I don't have any acne. I don't know, maybe she's trying to dry it out a little to see if it calms down. Who knows! I'll try a tiny bit of the face wash tonight and see how that feels. So far, though, this stuff doesn't seem to be the right answer to my problems. Bummer!

Heres a link on it

I have never heard of this...but is sounds like a sulphur based wash & cream...I can't use sulphur...topical or oral.

Maybe your derm thinks this will be good for seb derm? But if you don't have that then....who knows!

If it burns then don't use it! That's my thinking on it anyway Cool

I'm on a sodium sulfacetamide 10% and sulfur 5% cleanser. It hasn't been long enough to tell if it's working yet or not, but it's supposed to be good in reducing inflammation and Rosacea redness. I'll have to wait and see. I think that's what this combo is generally used for, though. Maybe you have an allergy to some of the ingredients? Otherwise, it's probably just to harsh. Sorry it didn't work out for you. =[
