Lookout, do you know if any of the other EFAs interfere with thyroid function? I have hypothyroidism, too, and have never been warned by my GP that any supplements/foods could cause problems. Was just sent off with the prescription for thyroxine, and told this would make everything okay...
To be fair, don't think I have many hypothyroid symptoms at the moment - just the skin problems and a bit of tiredness.
Thanks,
Kristina |

Hi Kristina.....just google food & goitergen and lots of info will pop up....there are many foods like "soy" that are very bad and in many supplements. Not sure about other EFA's....just flaxseed....I believe coconut oil is good for us and so is olive oil. Even though fish oil isn't listed it just doesn't work for me. HTH _________________ Dx 1998
