There is a "recipe" for something called cromolyn cream that is made of Vanicream lotion, cromolyn, and glycerin. It is mostly used by people with hives as an anti-itch agent, and also by people with mastocytosis. I've read some posts here by people who have tried nasal spray on their rosacea. Just wondering if anyone has heard of this or tried it (for redness and/or flushing).

There is also an oral cromolyn called Gastricrom (or something like that). Also used by masto sufferers, for flushing among other reasons. Anyone tried this?

Thanks!

I haven't tried the cream but I did use to apply some nasalcrom (cromolyn sodium) to my face and it did seem to help a little to fight p&p's and also reduced some itching. But I had to apply it many times a day and found finacea to work much better. It seemed to reduce some redness too.

I've read about what you wrote on the internet too and it sounds pretty interesting.
