Hi Dr. Nase,
I've posted this question elsewhere but only received a couple of superficial answers. I am now 59. My Rosacea is on the mild side, mostly red in the T-zone area - now and then getting papules and splotches. I first started noticing my red face around the age of 21 and about that time I started sweating profusely from my face, back of neck and chest. Prior to that time, I rarely sweated - I actually thought something was wrong with me. Also, now that I'm getting older I've been noticing that my red cheeks are getting redder. My questions are what is your feeling regarding the association of Rosacea, sweating and age? Do you think the change in metabolism [as you grow older] has anything to do with it? Thanks.

Charles,

I dont even have a clue. Can you see an endocrinologist -- they should be able to give you the proper blood and hormonal tests to figure out what is goiing on.
